No question Mini Se7en and Mini Miglia's. Caterhams come a close second. The BTCP is an honourable 3rd, but move higher if what you are looking for is incidents not racing.

How about the Mini Festival at Mallory Park on August 12th ? Mighty Minis, Super Mighty Minis, Mini Se7ens, Mini Miglias... oooh.... fun!
Failing that, you can't go wrong with the TOCATour - BTC-P and Clios...! |

Fiesta's used to be number one, but sadly since they left the BTCC there are not so many of them. Last year we had some very busy grids and I have to say that looking at last years video's, it was great racing, if you want to see the same thing now then it has to be the BTCC especially BTC-P, I know, because we are still fixing the cars after Thruxton!! I don't doubt that with the format that they used at Thruxton, the whole series will be good to watch. Can anyone name the drivers who graduated to Touring cars from fiesta's by the way?

Talking of darling little Fiestas - saw you John in your fiesta on the box last night. You were up to no good I fear. They showed all the crumps and rolls and biffs from last year - most entertaining!

If you want to see real paint swapping you need to get to Europe to see the Clio V6 EuroTrophy...
First round at Monza, 66 cars took the starts, 36 finishers... Although the UK Clios can be entertaining, especially somewhere like Brands Indy where passing is a little tough (or should that be rough?)... RickP:Not biased at all: Clio 51 |

No way is Powertour than a good club meeting such as one featuring the Mighty Minis... which is your local circuit, and i'll tell you when the series visits...
Rick - we'd love to see the V6 Clios again - well enjoyed seeing 100 odd of them at Donny last year. Sadly they're not coming here for some reason this year Surprised they weren't on the bill at Silverstone last weekend actually... |

4 Fiesta Drivers
John Top-Gear, Nick Beaumont, Gareth Howell and Andy Neate.
Although I believe that Andy will not be racing again due to sponsorship difficulties. Pity Shedden and Pinny couldn't get the money together, they would have been valuable assets to the championship. John why did Nick leave Goodliff? 1 race, 2nd place, fastest lap, then pole at Thruxton then nothing. If he had stayed there with Howell then he might have won the Championship. |
