Race Car Live @ Brands Hatch

RACE CAR LIVE @ BRANDS HATCH
I have just seen the "Race Car Live at Brands Hatch" mentioned in the BRSCC News
It takes place on the 4th December.
Is this an ideal opportunity to promote Marshalling? Or even give a demostration.
Also as there will be use of the circuit will marshals be required.
Does anyone have more information?

It's for clubs, race series and manufacturers to demonstrate what they have for 2005. It costs @£850 for a garage and you get a number of 1/4 hour slots for demo's, prospective drivers etc to have a go. It is not competitive but a showcase type event.

Thanks Mike.
I got that information from the message.
My question "not very well put" was aimed at Marshalling and the opportunities to promote marshalling?

I would imagine MSV have any marshalling covered as they do for mid week test or track days. As for having some form of Marshals Stand there I'm not too sure if its a good or bad idea.

As the show is primarily for race car producers to 'show off' their products, I would imagine the majority of people attending will be race drivers or teams etc. If that is the case then I don't think there is much to be gained from a stand.

If however it's more a public event (which I don't think it is) then there would be good reason for the BMMC to be represented. I'll try and find out from MSV.
