FRC Round 4: Spa 1000K
This is the official prediction thread for Round 4 of the 2008 Fantasy Racing Challenge, which is the Spa 1000K. Pertinent information can be found as follows:
The entry list: http://www.lemans-series.com/en/s52_....php?circuit=4 The event schedule: http://www.lemans-series.com/en/s52_....php?circuit=4 If you have not read through the rules and information thread, please do so, as the format is somewhat unique. Your submission should include your pole prediction for each class along with your pick(s) for each class winner. Reminder: You can pick from one to three cars for your class winning choice. I have no set format for submitting your picks as long as it is easy to follow. A submission for P1 might look like this: P1 Pole: Audi #2 Win: Audi #1, Peugeot #7, Pescarolo #16 A submission for GT1 might look like this: Pole: #59 Aston Martin Win: #72 Corvette All predictions should be in by 12:00 (Noon) local time Saturday, May 10th. The deadline is 1 hour and 50 minutes prior to qualifying. Good luck to everyone! Note: I have not had a chance to update the Monza and overall points. Will try and do it tomorrow. Thanks. |

Hello
Another battle of the diesels with the LMP2 Porsche Spyders close behind perhaps. Lets hope the Charouz Lola Aston Martin goes better this time. Is "Shorty" regretting having a Pescarolo chassis? LMP1 Pole: #7 Peugeot - I still think Peugeot will have the pace to out qualify the Audi. Race: #7 Peugeot - Time for another Minassian/Gene win. LMP2 Pole: #34 Porsche Win: #34 Porsche - OK they had a hiccup at Monza when they got mauled by some GT cars but they still seem to be the quickest package in LMP2. GT1 Pole: #72 Corvette Win: #59 Aston Martin - Another ding dong battle between these two. GT2 Pole: #96 Ferrari Win: #96 Ferrari - I expect this pairing to be back on top here. Now lets hope everyone can make it round the first corner without a pile up! I'll be recording as usual on MOTORS TV. Nick |

#8, #34, #59 and #96 for pole
I thought Lamy and Minassian were doing qualifying, but they did it in Monza. If I'd remembered right, I would've picked Sarrazin over Gene. |
