skells22 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Brands Hatch Indy rounds 28,29 & 30

next weekend we have 4 people in with a shout of a title and we got extras in as well. And as we know there is a high risk of a safety car as this is a short lap.

Don't forget, NOW we have the added bonuses. For the people that are staying at home, they will be able to see the qualifying live, albeit only visible on the oficial website.

PLUS, people that do visit Brands on Saturday will be able to see the new NGTC Avensis during the two test sessions.

They have always said, depending on how it performs in testing.

But don't worry, it will be on show.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised to see it out in the last race providing the championship have been decided...

It's on the ITV website, not the official BTCC website.

Just to clarify this, from the man himself...

In reply to a question on the official forum. Reading the full post, a lack of spares could put the mockers on the Sunday demo laps so if you want to be absolutely certain of seeing it running then be there on the Saturday...

I'm new to the UK and was planning on going to my first race next Sunday but I just can't find a way to get to the track from Swanley Station. All the info I can find is for car drivers but I'm a student, don't have a car and won't rent one so I want to use public transportation. There seems to be a bus line (408) but it's off on Sundays! I guess a cab is always an option but it'll probably cost me more than a pair of tickets. Is there a shuttle service or anything???

Taxi from Swanley is the best option - it should be less than £10 each way.

Sadly none of the UK's circuits is easy to get to by public transport. Croft and Silverstone being the easiest, as buses go near them.

Get as close to it as possible and then hitch a ride? Or ask around on a few forums, perhaps someone is willing to take you along... At least that's what I'd try first - you can always take a cab if it doesn't work out...

Where are you staying?
If it's in London I should be able to give you a lift.

I think if Plato wins the title he will retire from BTCC because he will have got what he's been hunting for, for the past few years. Plus i dont think he really likes the new regulations for next year

Plato won't go unless he is without a top line drive, we'll see him again in the Cruze next year.

Superb start though from Plato, I had to watch it again just to be sure it wasn't a jump start. It was even funnier to see Neal light up his tyres after his comments about pole at Brands being the worst circuit to have pole at.

That could have been a bit of drama if Plato had to stop to change tyres - it was him RML were ready for. He'd have then had a mere few points over the Honda's.

I thought it was. There was one shot showing some dust up at the bottom of Paddock Hill which I presume was caused by Plato running wide.

Would have made the rest of the day exciting to say the least.

I imagine the only thing that could stop Plato from winning the title is Neal clattering into him at the start of this next race. In that last race I don't think Plato had any choice but make an excellent start!
