Thanks To John George
Seeing as I know he reads this forum, I'd like to say thanks to John George and Mardi Gras Motorsports for being so approachable in the Knockhill paddock today. John was happy to sign photos and have a chat about the LPG system in the Pug and didn't look straight through you the way a lot of the superstars are known to do. He acknowledged the crowd at the end of the races with some flashes of the lights etc and provided some entertainment at the chicane when he was mostly all over the works Proton.

The Peugeot was a very well presented car, I have to say - red suits the car a lot better than the old fluro yellow or Halfords orange.

oh no that's a pity because he had some great scraps as well and at the begining of the races was holding his own. That car looks great (even when the front a little rearranged by the kerbs).
Hopefully it will be even better for Brands |

Fair play to the guy George for putting up a fight with the protons despite being in a decrepid old pug running on vaporised cow manure.
Hope he does well in the rest of the season He wouldn't give me his fornt bumper though. |

I'd love to see the team acheive their goal of a top 10 finish by the end of the season. The Peugeot is doing extrememly well considering its age, and is probably no slower than it would be on conventional fuel, and John seems like a top bloke. Maybe a company will get behind them to develop a pure LPG-powered car in future.

Just because the works teams have enough budget to had out surplus body parts doesn't mean everyone does. |

Some of them even just ignore you. For a lot of people that could be the deciding factor on whether you support a team or not. Turkington, Reid, Phil Bennett, Warren Hughes are those that do actually talk to you. Even if it isn't an in depth discussion, it's nice. |

The car looked even better this weekend than it did at Croft and it seem to be on the pace of the Jason Hughes, Hurriman's etc. Good luck to the team for the rest of the year.

Yeah, after just one race they're comparitively competitive.
It'd be just great if the team could nab some points before the season is over. |

I get that impression as well Alfa. They say you get a better class of people at the back of the grid - I'm nto sure Batchelor fits that definition, but otherwise it's probablt true in the BTCC.

I found Tim Harvey very Friendly when i met, very talkative. Stopped on his moped after the porsche race at brands to sign my 95 year book. James Kaye seems nice aswell, so does Leslie. Yvan Muller though isnt so great, he was on his mobile phone for most of the pit walk at oulton last year. Thommo's quite nice aswell. All the guys lower down are very nice aswell. I could go on, but I wont.
