I think it was reported that a young bloke by the name of Nick Simmons (spelling??) Is driving the GRM car. Im fairly sure that "The Pressure!!" will be back in his VIP Falcon this year.

Nick Simmons aye? That is a huge shock, he well went to my school and was in my class a few years ago. Nothing relevant to any of you im sure....but wow.

This class of racing really looks like it is huge and how good does that car look. It actually looks fatter than the actual car.
I understand that Nick Simmons has come out of the Karting ranks and he was pretty good at it.
I wonder if we will see Garry Rogers behind the wheel again in the car as well, how cool would that be, maybe he could take on Dick Johnson in their car and apparently WPS have one as well.

Perfect way to cut the costs of V8 supercars; run the Aussie racing cars instead - they've got as much in common with the cars in our driveways as the supercars do!

The GRM Aussie car next to the V8 Supercar reminds me of Dr Evil and Mini-me.

Hey Pressure, you seem to know a bit about the class, which I just love to watch. The V8 Teams are obviously using the class to blood drivers and have seen the value of it, do you know if there are other V8 Teams getting cars?

I went to the V8 Launch yesterday and there were some good new designs. The WPS and GRM Aussie Racing cars looked great and I noticed the WPS car has No 23 while the V8 had no number. David Besnard is listed to drive the car at the Clipsal on the Aussie Racing website which should be great to watch.

Aussie Racing Cars

Does anyone know if they are going to form a state championship or what they will do once the Aussie Racing Car fields get to big?

there's been talk of a Level 1 series, and a Level 2 series, very similar to the V8 Supercars and the Development series. Not sure of that thought progressing at this stage though.
