Henrik Pedersen should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Russell-Alexis

Where does one look for clue for the chassisnumber on a Russell-Alexis on the chassis ?

I don´t think they were made by Arch Motor, but not certain.

Does anyone know the full history of this very important car, being the first formula Ford car ?

Cars carried a dash plate with the following data
AT [for Allan Taylor]/FF or what ever type/chassis number

chassis numbers seem to be sequential regardless of model - so there is only one series of numbers [however, I've got very limited observations of chassis plates, so there may be one series for FF and another for F3 and another for FB]

The plate also carried the date the car was finished
thus one Mk14 carried the following
AT/FF/10
10 November 1967

It was called a Mk14 in 1973 when this plate observation was made, but probably started life as a Mk11, since AT/FF/19, built in January 1968, was called a Mk11 when observed in late 1969.

At last some progress is being made regarding my Russell-Alexis.
I found the AM number, and with the fantastic help of Duncan, we have finally located the chassis number and the driver in 1969 was Toby Matthews, and in 1971 it was Peter Goddard (blue car).
The car was build in april 1968, so the first driver is still a puzzle ! Does anyone knows who sold the car to Toby Matthews ?
