This coming Sunday's event will mark forty years since the VSCC’s first meeting at Cadwell Park.
12-races including - Pre-war, Historic and Classics. Three ERAs taking part I believe plus the Bugatti Owners’ Club’s Williams Trophy and a Triple-M Register MG vs Austin 7 Challenge race. Also the Classic Formula Ford 1600 Register race and one for Formula 3 500cc. Practice starts at 9.00am with racing at 1.00pm after the lunch break. In my very humble opinion, one of the best race meetings of the year - and the weather looks set reasonably fair. Well worth a visit. |

A few batches of photos from the day which proved to be a good one with pretty decent weather sunny for the most part with a bit more cloud later in the afternoon but no rain. Some great machinery on display and some close racing throughout the grids, only one of which was a bit on the low side (the front engined pre-61 racing cars). Good crowd - first time I've had to queue for more than a couple of minutes to get out of Cadwell.

great picture which sums up a cracking race to the flag between Mike Fowler in the Cooper mk5 and Xavier Kingsland in the Staride mk3 which was only separated by 600th of a second.
it was our first time out in the Revis for nearly a year, back to usual quick engine change between the qualification and the race- really enjoyed the race , but have to say the 500 is a lot harder physically than the Junior to drive - I don't half ache today.
