If they get him it'll be good, no offence but Jaguar aren't providing... I understand they are still newish, but Webber needs better to show his full potential.

I think he could do it as well, if he did go to Williams!

Yes, I think he should go to Williams. I don't think Jaguar are good enough for him. IMHO.

If Webber goes to Williams to replace JPM, I can't see why we won't have an Aussie WDC winner on our hands. Seriously, in that car, he'd be up there winning races. Bring it on!

Has anyone heard, so far, that DC is quitting? I havn't, so where will JPM go from Williams? Personally, I think this is all BS that Mark will go to Williams; probably thought up by old man Packer of Channel 9.

I've only heard and read that Coulthard has a contract for next year. But a contract doesn't a lot these days. And yes i'll like to see Webber in a Williams.

Mark Webber has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Mark in a williams would equal WDC without adout and the combo of Mark and Ralf would take the WCC . I admit I don't like Williams but i'm a big fan of BMW & Ralf and without saying Webber so 3 out of 4 isn't bad .
Saying this bring a team up like Jag which Mark CAN DO shows alot and has its plus's but the WDC becons hard and Williams if the could broker a deal I see Mark going + I'd love to see FW actual open his wallet for a change as Mark will cost as Jag love him .
but overall I'm turning to the notion

DC signed for another year while JPM and Webber each have one more year to serve? I think. Then it makes a small rotation and all works out fine. I hope he goes to Williams and rocks up some podiums as much i'd like him to stay at Jag and make them better.

He won't move for 2004. A team trying to sign him would have to pay once to pay off their current driver, ocne to buy Jaguar's contract out, and once more to actually pay Webber's salary. And Frank deosn't like payign a decent amount for drivers once, let alone 3 times.

It'll be itneresting to see what situation Jaguar (and Toyota and BAR) are in this time enxt eyar. I think, if the big 3 are going to be broken, it'll happen soon, but I'm nto convicned that enough progress is being made elsewhere. Webber may need a seat in a top team, and he's more worthy of one than DC or Trulli in my view. I hope he gets a chance by 2005.

Yes, I think that's what he said before each season. But then again, to keep your job, anyone in their right mind would say that.

But he hasn't been doing a terrible job.

Well actually, Frank could stand to make a mint out of a three way swap - DC to Jag, Mark to Williams, and JPM to McLaren.
