Maison Blanche

You'll find some news and pictures on Maison Blanche too... but they used to run at Le Mans in the early 90', if I can remember...

Is Flyin' Ryan known on this forum? He worked with them at Daytona.

Surely this is not "related" to the Armagnac Norma which Del Bello and Santos failed to qualify at Le Mans in 1990?!!

In some ways there's a relation with the Armagnac Norma, in fact the constructor is just the same.

No relation between the actual chassis, though. Their current chassis, the M2000-02, debuted at Daytona. They heve focussed on the Grandam in the last two seasons or so, with Mader-BMW engines; At Daytona, one car was BMW-engined while the other one had a new Kinetics-built Ford V8. Sebring will see two Ford-engined cars, I believe.
There was some talk a while ago about Don Nichols resurrecting the "Shadow" marque with chassis from Norma. Evidently, this led to nothing.
Anthony Kumpen was scheduled to drive for them at the Rolex, and actually drove for them in Qualifying, but didn't do the race with them. A shame.
The Sezio Florida site has a clever little links page, btw - all the essentials "under one roof" (including DSC but all the other favourites as well).

I like the car's looks. Hopefully they will bring the car to Europe, and the FIA series, soon (where they should be considering they are based in France )
