I've been thinking about that. But what I had in mind is a little bit different. You pick who you think will be the top ten drivers, and after the race you get whatever WC points all of those drivers get if the end up in the top ten, and the points are added up until the end of the season. Of course, you're right, there would be no prizes, no trip to New York City, no awards banquet, and no multi-million dollar bonus for winning.

I have been playing with a spreadsheet to keep track of all of it. Some of the formulas were a pain to figure out, but I think I have a working model now, which will only require a small amount of manual manipulation each week. The only thing I haven't quite figured out is how to rank people if they end up with an equal number of points.

One way to do that is the one who picked the most drivers would be on top. So if two people have say 500 points in a given week, and one picked 6 out of 10, and the other picked 4, the one with 6 correct picks would get the higher position.

Of course, it would be up to the gang here rather we actually did this or not. If there is enough interested people, I would mess with it every week. If not... I wouldn't bother with it.

I'm thinking something like Casey suggested with picking who you think the top 5 is and getting the same points as they do for that race. But we only do it on a race to race basis and just have a weekly winner, similar to what we do at SCF. I don't want to get to over burdened with points and changing drivers though a season, already in a fantasy league through ESPN.

Lars, I'll get you next segment !!!

Well Lars, I'm 9th right now,
Richmond is the last race of this segment.
If things go right I could get 6th.
Bye Bye top 5 (for now, LOL).
