Rounds 4/5/6 25-26 April
Rounds 7/8/9 16-17 May
Rounds 10/11/12 30-31 May
Rounds 13/14/15 13-14 June
Rounds 16/17/18 1-2 August
Rounds 19/20/21 15-16 August
Rounds 22/23/24 29-30 August
Rounds 25/26/27 19-20 September

That is good.

If the races in Macaou don't work out, I'd really would like to see the WTCC-guys run at Bathurst - Australia. Other cool options can be Suzuka or Sentul - Indonesia.

Both Bathurst and Suzuka sounds like really good ideas to me. Sure to create exiting races. Not familear with Sentul though, is it a good track?

I saw it last year when A1-GP ran on it, and I was very positively surprised. Both the track and the facilities where much better than I expected.

Here is a lap onboard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_vBFxBgLyw

The 2 gaps either side of Oschersleben looks a bit strange.

July/August I can understand as a summer break, but to miss the whole of September as well?

Autosport said last week that if Lotti can't come to an agreement with the Macau organisers, WTCC might move to a street track around the new Olympic village in Beijing.

I think this 2009 calender is the best WTCC calender since it started. Good to see a race in Africa and the retun of Porto.

If Beijing happens it probably won't be until 2010.

Given that everyone is trying to avoid F1 weekends (although F1/WTCC do share 2 dates) some clashes are inevitable. Compared to this year WTCC and BTCC have done a much better job at avoiding each other.

WTCC needs rounds in Russia and China. Those are the growing markets, thats where manufacturers want to advertise.

russia would be welcome
but hell anywhere in europe in the old 'east' might work as well
um no canada?
i know a race like this would likely fail in the US so let's not bother- but Canada! it would be great,
is Valencia the Permanent track or the street race?
