Sato?
He didn't do well this year but was Euroformula Open Champion in 2019. That championshuip is often overlooked, but is not completley without merit: see Drugovich (EF Open champion 2018) I don't know what Yifei Ye (EF Open champion 2020) is up to, I expect 1 or more year(s) in F3 first, but you never know? And there are alwasy some veterans you don't expect to return but yet they do. So probably at least one of: Delétraz, Alesi, Ghiotto, Aitken, Gelael What is Ilott up to? |

I heard some news that Joey Alders was looking to raise funds for a campaign for 2021 following his Asian F3 title and dropped his FR Eurocup programme to do so. Haven't heard anything more than that though.

I wonder how will they save money by flying to Russia, Azerbaijan and the Middle East twice.

It would surely have made more financial and logistical sense to have more rounds in Western Europe.
Plus there are 2 month gaps between 3 of the rounds, a 6 wk gap! |

Piastri for Prema.
Not really a surprise there, is it? -- And Ralph Boschung for Campos |

Armstromg and Shwartzmann are defo returning next year, according to comments from both drivers camps last weekend.
2 title contenders there straight away. Reckon Lundgaard will be back too. ART had one of their 'off' years but remain a top team. I doubt both current drivers will be staying though? |

Because if you qualify fastest, in race 1 you start 10th, work your way forward in the race and finish top 10 then your position is reversed again. Then finally you get the third race with your pole position. It just seems stupid. What if in race 1 you get involved in contact because you are in the "middle of the pack"? Then you might be starting race 2 at the back. 2 non scores all by being the fastest qualifier.

So two of the three races get a partial grid reversion. That doesn't make sense.

Just have 2 normal grid races. With the top 8 of the 2nd in reverse grid for the 3rd round.
The planned changes will make it more difficult for the real talents to build their scores. Perhaps that's the aim? |

So, who’ll be in for 2021?
Presumably Schwartzman will stay at Prema with the SMP millions, with Piastri. Zhou again? Deruvala likely I’d say. And sound like Dicktum spending his Dad’s money somewhere new. And Ilott’s folks maybe not up for spending their money anymore? Pouchaire at ART? Armstrong? Boschung at Campos. |

Ilott already said he is done with F2. I suspect he will be one of 2 Ferrari main reserves. As I put forward in my post from a few days back Shwartzmann and Armstromg already stated they will return. Daruvala highly likely as is Lundgaard. The dane did not deliver as expected but there is no doubting he has serious ability. |

Schwartzman confirmed at Prema.
Surely one of the main contenders for 2021 https://www.autosport.com/f2/news/15...2021-f2-season |

Drugovich will move to Virtuosi and Clement Novalak will test with Trident this week. Formula Scout says he might try to do F2 and F3 next year. EDIT: and Nanini and forever young Robert Mehri will test with HWA
