2024 BTCC - Knockhill rounds: 19/20/21
Heading up to Knockhill from Oxfordshire early Saturday morning.

Anyone else going?

Oh, you're such a whacky funster!

I genuinely thought such an erudite and knowledgeable BTCC poster on this forum would actually regularly attend the races? Silly me!

Anyway, to others (like myself) who are travelling to Knockhill this weekend, remember that the racetrack is deep in haggis country. So drive carefully!

Qualifying - YouTube ITVs stream currently says 13:30, but the BTCC website says 15:05 (Qualifying itself is 15:20-16:15)

Raceday - ITV4 - 11:10 - 18:20

Regular field, but Lee Mowle is the only Am to travel to Scotland

British F4 - 19
A return to the BTCC support package after two successful trips to Silverstone and Zandvoort were boosted by additions to the grid (23 at Silverstone GP, 27 at Zandvoort). Mika Abrahams, Joel Bergstrom and August Raber have dropped off the grid since F4 last raced with the BTCC.

MINI Challenge JCW - 20 (14 JCW, 6 JCW Sport)
The JCW grid from Croft is boosted by local drivers Gerry Hendry at Jamsport and Brent Bowie for BPC Motorsport. Bradley Gravett is listed on the entry after missing Croft. Hannah Chapman returns to the sustainable fuel guest car in JCW Sport.

Are there any judicials left over from Croft? I know they original said a couple of incidents would be looked at prior to Knockhill but I think they all ended up getting resolved before they left Croft.

Yes, the Watson/DeLeon incident from the second race remains unresolved.

Interested to see that Macklin Motors is 'boosting' it's support of Ronan Pearson for this weekend... the way tye article reads hints that he may have had some funding issues without that additional support.

That article is very misleading, I know for a fact there are no budget issues.

Yeah can understand that. Ronans season budget is good without any added "support"

I know them well, incredibly impressed that a 22 year old can raise the numbers needed to be on the grid. I expect this article may offend his personal partners, it would if it were me.

Even though Hill’s results were 1-2-2, I think Sutton’s weekend at Knockhill in 2022 was among the finest I can remember in BTCC.

Sutton's 2022 campaign as a whole was one of his finest. Leading the championship going into Brands in the clear 3rd fastest car was insane

What's happened to Hill? 16th in FP1 and 18th in FP2 7/10ths off Colin's time. Are they testing different setups or is it mind games to lull the leaders into a false sense of security (can't see that working though)? I guess we'll see in qually!
