Loki05 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Howz about a tipping contest?

I dont know if someone here already does this or not (if someone already does I'll shut up) but I thought it would be cool if we did a tipping contest for the 13 rounds this year.

What do you reckon? It would only be for fun, no money or prizes involved but you get the satisfaction of showing up everyone else.

A week before each round I would post a thread for everyone to put their top 5 of the ROUND in and devise a points system then post results a week or so later...

If I get enough expressions of interest I'll do it.

If you're interested, there is a bit of a fantasy comp at www.qrda.asn.au. I think they'd still accept tips for the Konicas, and there is a fair chance of there being prizes later in the year

I just signed up for it and picked my team, you sure did not make it easy to divide 40mill up.
I have found a sponser so can I please add another 2 mill, thats all I want.

Sevi- I think we were going down the same track- I went for Murphy, Jim Richards and Winterbottom. Not many people have gone Skaife, but I think that he is a pretty good choice, and in hindsight, a few of the Konica guys a too cheap after the weekend.

I wanted Skaife, and Winterbottom, I didn't care if I had no one else.
Decided to go and spend the money with Skaife as there are only 5 rounds of Konica's.
How do you check you team?

I've been in the V8 Pick Ten comp over at http://www.conrod.com.au for the past 3 years. However, for some reason, the site's owner(s) seemed to have abandoned it, half way through last season. I'm not sure why, other than work committments, as a guess.

Still if they could ressurect it for this year, it'd be great.

As I understand it the competition got threatened by an outside source. I wasn't aware that it had been dropped altogether though - maybe elephino can enlighten us before he heads to Victoria on Friday?

If you searched on Conrod for all topics that are in relation to the Pick 10 being updated I reckon you'd find over 100 !

The Pick Ten has been dead for half the year. If you are looking for a reliable Tipping Comp. then go no further than V8Central.com ! CART, Konica's, V8's and F1 for this year. And trust me it's update the day the race finishes !

I have to be careful how I say this as the publisher of conrod is going to be with me from Saturday for 5 days (Grand Prix Rally) - but yes I started to use it but something about it turned me away.
