Lap Timer Recommendations
Lucky old me has a birthday coming up and the missis asked that fatefull question "What do you want?"
So..... can anyone recommend a good lap timing system (preferably under £200) for a saloon car. |

Try the Classified thread in Club Level Single Seaters. Mattray has put a second hand one on there today and the missus can get you some other goodies with the money saved.

I had a Rollcentre one and was very happy with it. One of the competitors in our championship is still using it with no problems and it is about eight years old!

Rollcentre does look to be the most common at club level from what I've seen, and the T100 will satisfy the 45 minute races that I occaisionally do with the 100 lap memory. What about Stack?

I have the Rollcentre one, the T200, and I'll say that it's the best value for money I have found in the world of lap timers.
The stack one is good, but why pay for the name. The T200 allows you to download the times from your unit to your laptop for you to look real professional later.... Rob. |
