Hey Guys, I found an interesting interview with Jacques Villeneuve on the ITV site where he discussed the upcoming US GP.
Here is a link: http://www.itv-f1.com/news/news_story.php3?mediaid=2044 It is Real Audio, and will be displayed best if you have a high speed connection (ie Cable or xDSL). Although it is a little over 30 min, the first 10 min feature an IMS representitive discussing the circuit and the changes that will be made for F1. A short video of Jacques in F1 and in Indy cars is then shown before Jacques comes out. He discusses the circuit, saying that it could be 'interesting'. He compares Champ cars to F1 cars, saying that there is less difference than most would think. And also says that the only way F1 could keep the Americans interested in the sport is by having 16 races in the US, and having all American drivers. He also comments on Indianapolis saying that it is not that exciting. It's worth a look see. |

Great find! Thanks for posting it--it's a long video and I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but so far it's great. Really tough to find any sort of decent coverage of F1 in North America--heck, I consider myself lucky that we get all the races on TV.
