Murph VY pic - Side-on

Here is the side on view of Murph's new VY, it looks fantastic, go to www.holdenmotorsport.com to read the article. Any comments on what you think of the car and how it will go. Because they still can't test it might struggle to be on the pace but you never know.

Seeing as they can't test, you have to question the sense in running the new car when it hasn't been sorted out, especially as they have been reasonably competitive in the VX

They probably figure that this years chamionship would be pretty hard to win from here, so getting the most time in the car will be worthwhile in the long run.

I'm sure they want to go to Bathurst with as many miles under the new car as possible.

After all they might need to be able to get a five minute lead over the rest to have a chance of winning

Spuds in 4th on adjusted points now I think so could still be in with a chance and is certainly in a position to be the runner up.

Its an extremely odd move in my view and if they are succesful at OP with zero testing, then you would have to consider them better than HRT!

I must say it does look good, the livery does suit the VY better than the VX.

Agree! The angular lines of the VY particularly around the front guards, headlights and rear quarter panels suit the long graphic designs of the KMart livery. I think the much-maligned looks of the VY can be made better with complimentary livery. The best looking VX livery was the '02 HRT VX and the worst IMO was the KRT '02 VX. What a difference a model change can make.

I see in AA this car is the crashed car of Todd Kelly. Another HRT hand-me-down. Good to see that those teams are still not linked in any way! I would like to see any other team try to get a HRT car these days.
So the car is basicly sorted. You will probablly find it did quite a few shack down laps in HRT colours before it was handed over to be painted.
