AASA Race Meeting Queensland Raceway 12/9/2004
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get out to this meeting, does anyone have any results available from the races at QR last Sunday?? Natsoft and Racetime appear to not have any available.
Did anyone go out there for a look? How many entries did they have? How was the racing?? CD. |

Hey CD,
We took a few Gemmys there for the Sunday part. They were entered in the "Sedan" class with around 19 cars in total. Spewing you were not there, The old Thompson Benz sports Sedan was there (I think) with a chap driving it by the name of Williamson, also Barnes and the Pontiac, and Cromptons horn Mustang. They put on a good display. There was about 15 mopro cars in a seperate class. Superkarts, and the "openwheeler" class aswell. Cam |

All in all I think 63 cars hit the track.
The highlight was the Barnes Pontiac, Crompo's Mustang, the old Thompson Merc (Roger Williams) and Trent Young. Wayne Clift and Angela Lechner also ran their Sports Sedans. Around 15 superkarts, the MoPro cars were spread between Lotii, MGs and Daewoos. A few sports cars and things too. |

Good stuff!!
Sounds like it was a good meeting. Unfortunately we had a few too many worn out/broken bits on the Falcon that needed fixing after the Morgan Park meeting two weeks ago so I couldn't get there. I'll probably be "king of the poo people" for not showing up, but there is only so much you can do in two weeks. Hey Bazza, thanks for your support of our meeting at Morgan Park too mate. Getting all those Gemini's there is a top effort I know how hard it is getting three cars to a meeting, let alone six or more..... CD. |
