Mr Jinxx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ryan Sharp

I hear whispers that Ryan Sharp may not be doing Formula Renault next year with JVA but is going to Germany. Anyone know the score?

lol - pinny and a headscarf and very little else! That's just wishful thinking, lady <ducks and gets ready to sprint>

Eurocup is FRenault Eurocup? The one Russfeld says may have different engine mapping? That Hamilton did a few rounds of last year?

(Yes, yes, I know, a preposition is a grammatical term you should never end a sentence with!)

Who's behind the German FR move then? He'll do well.

Yeah I was told once Eurocup uses a different map and maybe even a better fuel. Were Donnington Euro times from Donnington National times?

?? ryan is the quietest guy on the circuit UK FRenault are using control fuel from Atol (who supplied UK karting fuel) next year, I believe. That's really good news. Takes a variable away. I don't know what you can do to fuel in FR, but there were all sorts of tricks that the karting fraternity got up to

Well new Fords come out every year, but the regs dont change that much.

I think the current FRS package ends in 2005?

I had heard that it was a 3 year standard for current Formula Renault chassis - 2002 was the first year, but my memory aint what it was.

racingdick - you need to co-ordinate the sticky-out tongue smileys in the text area with the one next to the date at the top (ie where your camp fire is burning) if you want to impress me !!

I did it by accident on this page http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...5&pagenumber=5 but it seems to have stopped now

The longer they can extend the current chassis (keeping safety and wear in mind) the better a value the series is.

with the severity of some of the accidents last year i wouldn't be surprised if renault sport have been kept busy over the winter delivering out new cars

They're assured until 2005, after which time Renault could bring in a new aerodynamics package, like they did at the end of 2001, or they could design a new car.

Keeping a car the same for a long period of time is good for costs, but they also have to be kept up to date, or other championships can be seen more favourably. After 2005, these cars will be 6 years old.
