2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Round 25: Emory Healthcare 500; Atlanta Motor Speedway
After a week off, the Cup series heads South to the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Emory Healthcare 500, Sunday night. They are trying to make this a "new" Labor Day weekend tradition and seemed to have positive responses from the race last year among attendance. If this is going to be the only ATL race in the next years, then it will surely becoming bigger and bigger as the years go on.
Jayski Race Page Practice #1, Saturday, 11-1 EST Happy Hour, Saturday, 145-230 EST Q-ing Saturday at 440 EST Race, Sunday, 730ish EST It is going to be a clear and relatively cool weekend in Georgia after a long, hot summer. Just as a warning; Foreigner will be giving a pre-race concert. Last edited by fieldodreams79; 3 Sep 2010 at 02:43. |

I hope our friends across the pond got the feed back. I too lost cable/feed for about 25-30 minutes; the internet is through the cable but at least I had PRN to fall back on.
Good race, Smoke gets his first of 2010. Congrats to him. Good door to door action, three wide racing and lots of cars with the rear end hung out all night long; thanks for not coming back twice next year nascar. Kahne and Newman discussing the lovely weather after the race.... Last edited by fieldodreams79; 6 Sep 2010 at 03:55. |

Pretty good race! The crowd, wow, no wonder we're losing a date. Is it possible PLM outdraws the Nascar race?

Ambrose did a great job today started from 32nd managed to finish inside the top 10 and got as high as 8th place on the track after being dumped down by Kurt Bush and Montoya.
But yeah great racing but today's race felt like the Coke 600 race not Atlanta lol But yeah what a save by Kasey Kahne not to course a huge wreck... As it looked like Ambrose was going to be caught up in that one and I though he would be for a second lucky he ran into Kurt Bush lol |
