Sebring Spectating....
Looks like I may be in the vicinity of Sebring at the time of this years race... and unless I can find a drive at short notice for little money I'll be spectating on the qualifying day (Thurs) to try and pick up some pointers/contacts for future years.
So I turn to the font of all knowledge that is 10-tenths! Are there going to be any 10-tenthers making the journey, and can I buy a ticket just for the Thursday on the gate when I arrive? Where's good to watch, and am I going to be able to get into the paddock area or do I need to schmooze someone in advance? Many thanks! RickP |

Consider me there, arriving Wednesday morning.
You are pretty much going to have to buy multi day ticket, as the place never closes and clears out. All areas are great for spectating. Any ticket gets you paddock access---The ALMS ROCKS, and is trully For the Fans! The spectator mounds have been a great addition over the years, and the place is just magic. Wear walking shoes and see as much as you can. Sebring International Raceway website has track map, ticket info, etc. robert |

A "link" (broadband will help)
Click HERE for the track's website. You will have to poke around the `about' link to get to the track map.

Cheers for this boys... all very err... instructive.
Will def. make the effort to get across for qualifying on Thursday although from what I can tell I'll be missing the main event (bikini contest). Will keep an eye out for ten-tenths crews... |

Can't imagine anything would be so important that you can't stay for the event. Besides the bikini contest, there will be a pretty darn great motorcar race!
