Very similar to the way that Basspro shops have marketed Dale Earnhardt lures in the past.

nascar is marketed really really well, however what i dont like is how they get one company to do all the teams, so basically everything is the same, like what happens for the afl. A clock for example is exactly the same showing different teams logos. Thats what i like about the v8s how each teams merchandise is unique and completly different to the other team.

You can also get NASCAR branded potatoes!

Some bloke tried to race the potatoes on his front porch on a website, but I can't remember where. It was hilarious.

Given that the sponsor concerned has ended its sponsorship of the #6 team and Mark Martin, opportunities may exist for that sponsor to make a serious foray into sponsorship of Australian Motor Racing. After all, a $15 million US sponsorship of a NASCAR team, doesn't compare with an AUD$3 million sponsorship of a V8 Supercar team.

Neither does the worldwide audience . i think the 12mil is a better value sponsorship than the a 3 mil one in Australia
