Andy Clement

Many Oulton regulars will be saddened to learn of the death of Andy Clement.

Whilst I didn't know Andy too well, he was always polite and friendly every time we spoke.

Andy was one of the regular Judges at Oulton of late, but understand that he was formerly a Startline Marshal.

It was always good to see his smile and his "Thumbs Up" to Race Control after a "Clean" start to a race.

My sympathies go to his Family and Friends.

The only times I spoke to Andy was whilst manning the fire tender in the pit lane. We (the fire tender crew) normally stand by the start line flag point in order to assist with any start line incidents. He was always so pleasant and knowledgable about who and what was racing. Another great loss to the marshalling fraternity.

It seems we are losing too many good people at the moment! My sincere thoughts are with family and friends at this very sad time.
