Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman

A great documentary film on Paul's life in racing. I saw it on Saturday. Great interviews with Robert Redford, Robert Wagner, Bob Sharp, Carl Haas, Sam Posey, Dick Barbour, Arthur Newman, Joanne Woodard and others talk about Paul's racing and car ownership. Great footage of the "old" Road Atlanta, Riverside, Lime Rock and other tracks. Comes out "on demand" on May22th. Be sure to see it.

Saw this a month ago during LM week and thought it was rather excellent, one of the better and more emotional character documentaries. Really showed his passion for the sport. I suppose my only complain would be kinda skimming over Le Mans, and pretty much ignoring Daytonas he did and others big non SCCA races like Petit, but they probably didn't have much footage to go on anyway except the general race stuff. But even then they could have had talking heads for that. Anyway highly recommend it, pair it with with one of the film career documents of his and watch them together
