2008 V8 Supercar Liveries.
Perhaps it is a little too soon, But does anyone know if any teams have launched their 2008 Liveries?
If so, could you please post some piccies here. Ta Stido |

The Irwin Livery looks a bit 2004 888-ish (just add the shatter on the side around a betta logo, and its quite similar). I like it more than this years though. the Red on the 2007 car (carried over from the fujitsu colour scheme) just didnt fit IMHO.

I think the 2008 projected livery is pretty much a copy of the Nascar version

i hope to see abit of the following, JDR i hope they put a little more white on, Tasman desent Rockstar livery to finish the year so with more time maybe a really nice one, HRT hopefully they ditch atleast some of the black and add somemore white, go back to either 2005 or 03 as they were my favourites, 888 ditch the chrome and go for a nice pearl silver.

The Irwin paint job is pretty disappointing, hopefully they will have a bit more of a think about it before they roll it out.

The irwin car is also similar to the Super Cup car. I like it, they have gone away from all the busy liveries and gone basic. |

Nope, but, as noted in the first few races, the cars when viewed from the front, look a LOT more like the road going models, than the previous cars.

But still bear absolutely nothing in common with their road-going counterparts, apart from their sticker headlights...!

while V8's do use Headlights, tailightd, mirror's and a few panels they are still a fairway from their road going counterparts, but are still way better than NASCAR, Top Door Slammers and NASCAR are about the same in their relevence to their road going counterparts.

I think the Irwin Racing livery is a bit plain compared to 2007, but as long as they are safe for the drivers does it really matter how pretty it looks?
I wouldnt be surprised if Britek approached Biggy G about his Fujitsu Livery.. |

WOA NELLY! Nascar as a sport, a specticle and a genuine competition is so far ahead of V8 supercars they shouldn't be mentioned in the same post! relevance to their road going equivalent has done what for the "sport" in Motorsport?
