car seats help
hi all,
I have just bought a used Holden Barina 1990 and I want to take the seats off because I need to clean the metal bits which are attched to the seats. How do I do that? Do i just unscrew the bolt? I'm new to car repair so I'm not sure if i will do the right things. Thanks |

The first thing I would suggest is that you buy a workshop manual for the car. It's probably quite easy in an awkward kind of way and you will probably need an assistant. That's probably all the advice I can give since I've never actually removed seats from a car
Welcome to the Forum kromo, I hope you find us fun and helpfull |

Removing seats is usually a very simple job, ordinarily they're held in by just four bolts which are accessed from underneath the car.

Every car is different but in my car i just push the chair forward and to bolts appear, i take them off and then push the chair back and take them off the front ones.
