Tim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the gridTim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the gridTim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the gridTim Northcutt should be qualifying in the top 3 on the grid
Here are your Qualifications Results:

drdisque was the only one to pick helio for the Pole for 2 pts.

NAC was closest to the Pole Speed: Actual - 171-071 NAc - 172.280

In the "Top Six," NAC had 5 of 6 with two correct for 7 pts., drewdawg had 4 of 6 with 2 correct for 6 pts., Flavinha, Alwaysfirst & Peno had 5 pts each and drdisque & Dylan14 had 4 each.

I gave 1 pt. for Simmons, since he will start tomorrow, but did not qualify, thus he will be last on the grid, but Danica was the slowest to actually qualify...no one had her in that spot.

Peno was closest to the slowest: Actual - 163-556 Peno - 163.232

NAC picked Buddy Rice as the "Just Miss" for 2 pts.

Totals after Quals:

1. NAC - 12 pts.
2. Peno - 7 pts.
3. drdisque - 6 pts.
(tie) Alwaysfirst - 6 pts.
(tie) drewdawg - 6 pts.
6. Flavinha - 5 pts.
7. Dylan14 - 4 pts.

Good luck tomorrow (provided it does not rain there...it is possible....)

NOTES TO ALL:

1. Please copy the Template for the Contest and paste it into the reply box before you submit your picks!

Peno -- You did not have a Pole Speed...you could've picked up 2 pts, if you would've been closest, but you didn't make a choice...you apparently typed in the choices your self...just copy from the "Qualifying Picks" on down and paste it into your response...then fill in the places...can't miss that way, especially since my contest has so many choices to make for a race weekend....

2. Please go to the IRL site www.indycar.com and look at an entry list before submitting your picks...

A number of you picked Milka Duno as the "slow qualifier" when she isn't even entered...

She is supposed to be at texas, but with the various "partial season" competitors that we may have this year(and did last year), please don't cost yourself points by naming drivers that aren't even going to race....

I'm not being critical, but I want all of you to have a fair chance and a good time doing this...and I don't want you to waste points by either not making a prediction because you didn't fill in all of the sections, or by listing people who won't even be on the track.

good job by all. I don't recall a week where everyone was separated by as few as 3 points.

More of a bad job by all I think. There were a lot of picks where noboby had the correct choice this week.
