SC430 will be introduced in 2006 SUPER GT
Toyota has annouced Lexus SC430 and Supra will race alltogether in the 2006 SUPER GT series.
4 brand new SC430 will be used next year, remaining toyotas are supra, however the teams of using new cars didn't decided. The shakedown test of SC 430 will be kick-off today on Fuji Speedway. I guess these four cars will be used by TOM'S,Le Mans and Cerumo |

Looks almost identical to the 350Z GT500!
Wonder if this opens up the option for a Toyota branded LMP for the JLMS? Not necessarily a full on project at this time, but a toe in the water. |

what is with toyota developing and running two cars at once. They did it with the MRS/MRS and Celica in GT300. Now they'll run two differnt models now in GT500. Nice to see the Supra Finally replaced. This should make next year even better.

in regards to the GT300 twins thats a little of fire. one is FR and they other is MR layout. oddly enough the celica is really a copy of the supra. they shared the same four cylinder turbo and a lot of the same parts. I dont see a toyota LMP anytime soon. The switch from toyota to lexus name plates comes from the recent launch of Lexus in Japan. yet the SC430 is a toyta Soaror but a lexus in the states so that doesnt explain that argument. the plot thickens
