Series organiser ask for loads of money, circuit refuses to pay it.

Surely not that shocking. Have you been watching F1 in recent years?

Poor timing though given we now have some seriously talented British riders in the WSB field.

no I dont watch f1 to much of a circus, Endurance racing is where its at mate !!!! (way ot) I found it shocking that 13 years on the calender then struck off. I throught MSV would have promoted this event to avoid this.
As you have said some good talent in britains bikers right now and its a bad time to pull it.

Palmer has said that the prie WSB were asking went up by over a third and the only way he can get that back is by adding over a tenner to the ticker prices.

In otehr words Palmer knows he cant make the money back for holding the event in ticket sales and if the weather is ****e its a huge loss for him anyway.

Flammini know they ahve a good package next year and are obviously putting up the proces to try and outbid otehr venues,.

They want italy more and more because of Max, they are obsessed with him.

As for Brands not being there, its a shame, but from Palmer's point of view you can see his point, why should he ask punters to pay more when he gets little out of it, whatever the reasons behind his decision the bloke is not afraid of making a big decision that might annoy a few people.

All he would get for the extra cash is a the ability to pay the new WSB fee, if he could pocket it himself for MSV I'm sure he would! Or if the rate was the same I am sure the event would still be there next year!

Gerben24 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
With all the Brits coming into WSBK next year, Flamini must have thought that this is their chance. Ask for more money, the fans will come anyway...

It's a provisional calendar though, and the gap in August hasn't been filled yet...
