slicktoast should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Will 10 make it 11?

Why should/shouldn't the ten teams allow Super Aguri in? That's if they have everthing in order finally.

The money will be divided by 11 and not 10.

Thats not correct, only the top 10 teams benefit. However the lower teams are likely to object because they could be pushed out of the 10 (and the cash).

Well Super Aguri have the backing of Honda, and the blessing of Bernie, so if they make a massive effort, they will be on the grid.

Why would Toyota spare Honda the huge embarassment of announcing a team which then fails to appear, thus removing the only Japanese driver from the sport? Sad to say, I think this could be another time where the teams are short-sighted and self-itnerested,r ather than looking to the common good of the sport.

For the reasons above I cant see MF1 rushing to help Aguri on to the grid.
Also I think it's likely that STR would not be too comfortable doing it and Hondas rival manufacturers may also not want to help them have a second team that in teh long run may aid development.

Shame, I'll only be fully happy when all 12 team spaces are full. (and hopfully more). But It's looking like that will not happen too soon.

There will not be a 11th team on the grid in 2006. Super Aguri is not taking a 2006 grid slot, if im wrong, ill eat my hat, scarf and woolly gloves.

maltafan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
If he does not have enough money to do the bond now, I do not imagine how financially strong will this team be in the near future, and finances are very vital to F1.

I don't belive money was the issue, more where the car would come from (to meet the regulations.) Never really expected them to front for 2006 anyway, but what would they need to do to be allowed to test at each event on the Friday? (if possible without an actual entry)

I have it already confirmed from a source last week directly that Aguri is already in. Takuma is their main driver, and they've got engines and tyres.

There was some talk of somebody not having their money paid up on time to Bernie though - big oops I think.

What would they be paying Bernie for?

I read somewhere that they have to do a bond (like a guarantee) and they have not done it yet!
