Car Eligibility
With all these control components coming onboard with the new VY's and BA's for next year, will you still be able to compete with any of the current cars. I would presume (and hope) yes, because surely they can't expect every team to build a new car for next year, but the older cars obviously won't fall in with the new control components.
Also, i heard that VS's and EL's aren't allowed in the main series this year, is this true? even for Bathurst. |

Yes the El's and VS are in eligible for the the main series it says on the official v8supercar website, and with Bathurst begin apart of the series that would suggest they are ineligible.

I think they will just fit the new parts to the older models till they are no longer allowed.
