Peltor vs. OMP intercom

Has anyone out there tried the 'Peltor compatible' OMP Helmet intercom?
Just wondered how it compares to the genuine Peltor ?
Any advice/comments appreciated
thanks

Not tried it but it should be ok I'd have thought (my helmet has Peltor intercom). What make of amplifier are you using it on? That's as likely to be as important as anything.

I think there are only two models - one is very basic (the one we have - has a volume control and that's about it) and the other has a few more bells and whistles. We've found it to be very good, the noise reduction on the helmets is very good and providing you've got the helmets plugged in to the right input we've not had any trouble hearing each other (the co-drivers input provides a louder output - so you can talk over your driver ).

Thanks for info its the less basic amp, decided to go the peltor route anyway.
As an aside has or does anyone know if you buy or make an adapter to run terraphone practice headsets on the peltor amp? I've googled but only seem to find adapters that go the other way (peltor headset to terraphone amp)_
