Did he also race a Green and Yellow Mustang. I have a feeling he hit the pit wall at Silverstone with it in one of his first races in Europe.

Yes the car is currently under restoration and should be at the Power From The Past race meeting at Symmons Plains 28th/29th of April

The car has been in the current owners hands for the past 30yrs

rbs - I am sure this is the same Bryan Thomson as I am sure I read some where that he travelled over seas for a while

Thats great news! I always wondered what happened to the car. Was it big block powered? Was it raced after Bryan built the Torana Sports Sedan?

I have a couple of b/w pics (not taken by me) of the car when it raced in NZ at Bay Park. No interior or engine shots though. I have a very brief piece of film footage of the car. Was something that appeared on tv many years ago, a collection of amateur footage taken at Bay Park. Thomson appears briefly heading down one of the straights, with a bit of smoke coming out the back. The Camaro was gold. Was only on for about two seconds.

Surely Bryan himself could help with pics? He is apparently still very interested in the old stuff.

Any clues on the whereabouts of Beecheys '68 Camaro?

Terry Allen had a Camaro, not sure where that came from.

Bryan Thomson did race his green ex-Beechey Mustang in the UK for a year. See pic half way down the page here:http://members.tripod.com/motorsport...60s_page_1.htm

I haven’t seen any interior photos of his Camaro, but there are a couple of photos of the car Baskerville half way done this page here:http://members.tripod.com/motorsport...70s_page_1.htm

Note: you may have to manually 'copy' and then 'paste' the above web address onto your Internet web browser address bar.

Terry Allens Camaro has dissapeared! Last known in the hands of Lakis Mantikas before (supposedly) going to Drag Racing so long gone and lost.

Thommo's car is being faithfully restored in Hobart as mentioned earlier.

I was actually out at Calder Park last week shooting Bryan Thomson's new Trans Am for a feature in Ignition Magazine. I'm not sure if you want me to post some pics here or go to my website (I'm not sure if I can put my website address on here though)

It will be running in Sports Sedans and will be a feature in the next issue.

What's happened to the Camaro? I haven't seen Bryan Thomson's name come up in relation to Sports Sedans this year.
