Are we in for any surprises this weekend?
Well it's the lull before the storm and the board's kind of slow. As Sunday approaches and the anticipation grows, any predictions, surprises?
Will Kimi and McLaren finally break through? Ferrari are due for a letdown of some sort, will it occur? How about tires, any advantages to Michelin in the heat or the rain? Will Ralf's absence affect Williams negatively or positively? Will Gene hold up his end? Will Webber be racing with special incentive? |

Well I'm going out on a limb and predicting Kimi, BAR and Renault on the podium in that order.. and with JPM knocking on the door for third and with Ferrari no better than 6th after a dnf from MS. If for no other reason, that we need a shake-up to the complacency.

All I hope for is a TGF retirement and Rubens doing stuff-all.

There's no reason to expect anything different from usual, but with any luck JPM can clear scrutineering this time (then again, he never has any luck)
I'd like to see Kimi get a good result as well - he's been impressive this year under the circumstances. |

Ralf Schumacher will try out Williams's new remote control technology to the fullest.... and take out Montoya at the start.

I'd like to see McLaren bounce back. I'd LOVE to see that in fact.

The da Matta practice session was solely because he got a lap in on the drying track when most people were back in the garage.
Down FOrce - McLaren should do well, they say they just did a long run today, rather than quick laps, and Kimi reckons he can get a lot more lap time by pushing harder. |

I didn't know about his fast lap so let's all hope for the best for that McLarren. It would be nice to see a podium for Kimi.

I doubt we'll see any major surprises. Schumacher-Button-Barrichello, I'll say.
