Honey, I sh[r]unk the Aston Martin
It seems that British auto maker Aston Martin has paired up with Toyota to make a new iQ. Known as the Aston Martin Cygnet Concept, it features a new front grille, wheel rims, hood and side vents and that's it. Engines are a 1.0L petrol, 1.4L diesel and possibly a hybrid drivetrain. Asking price is tipped to be AU$40,000 (19,834.8GBP). Possibly the most cheapest Aston or the most expensive Toyota to be put on sale.

Although I love the look of the car and think the marketing of the car is done very well, I'm sure that the reason behind this is that Aston Martin have to be seen to reduce the overall fuel consumption of their range of cars. Introducing a little economy car will help to bring the average down significantly. (Other manufacturers do a similar thing, but maybe in a less obvious way).

It has one feature never before seen on an Aston Martin.
The reasonable chance of completing a journey without breaking down. |

Better to have an Aston than a scoobie-doo. The RAC blokes are that much more respectful.

I heard - so it can't be true - that you can't buy them on their own, but only if you get a big Aston, kind of one for you, one for the lady....

According to AM News, the AMOC monthly journal, the car will initially be offered to new car buyers & existing Aston Martin owners. |

Its a little bit like the Hermes Smart of the Ferrari/Fiat 500. You will see dozens of these in places like Kensington
