David Owen should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
July 10th - the "Alternative" meeting....

....will be a CSCC humdinger at Cadwell Park.

We have all seen the long list of marshals attending the other event but how many of the thousands who aren't there will be joining us for a truly classic race day?

Very much toying with the idea, long way to come for one day on my own, but hey Cadwell (in my opinion) offers the very best club racing to be found anywhere in the country at the moment, long may it continue, David I will make my mind up early next week.

Bladders...

PS, is there anything happening on the circuit on the Saturday?

There is a general test day on, so I guess most of the CSCC guys will be getting some practice in.
Dave I will send you a message tonight for tickets.

I certainly need my passport, Toronto Indy, were single seater cars with equivalent performance to F1 actually overtake, and the race is won on the track, not in the pits.

Plus there are real support races, marshals get fed breakfast, lunch and dinner and are appreciated by all.

Plus Carl and uncle too, is that not right? (I suspect uncle might be elsewhere)

All are welcome, any grade or level of experience, it should be a very good day.

Nope, 'uncle's' at Cadwell this year (under orders that a long weekend away might not be in my best interest with a new born at home).

Tickets should hopefully have arrived to those who have volunteered so far.

Plenty of space available for more.

Before I commit are the races 40 mins or 20 mins and what are the entries like for each?

I'm not a fan of long races with very few cars

Cheers

Yes as it is a one day event bit far to travel for cscc event.

Its frustrating that there's 4 barc events on alone for 2/3 july whereas this weekend its another hardpressed weekend like 2 weeks ago.

Dont think the entry list will be out till Thursday as the closing date for entries is Wednesday. There looks to be a mix of 40min races 30 min races and 15 min races so a bit for everyone, although I havent found a timetable yet.

Are these all together (ie 2 races for 29 cars) or is it two different 15 min races. Or is 29 to many for Cadwell to start.

its 2 separate 15 min races, the Sports v Saloon has a history at Cadwell so by splitting the grid we have had more enter the race which would have been full.
