Will have to wait for the ITV4 highlights, just hope they don’t spoil the races like they did on the Phillip Island coverage

Scott Redding looks really determined this year and Chas seems to be back on the pace on the Ducatis. Along with Superglu2 and Alex riding well alongside Rea it looks to be a good competition this year.

Certainly looks like Rea wont have such a championship cruise this year though
Redding certainly looked strong.

Well, after Portimao yet another Rea championship actually looks like a possibility... I hope the Aragon round at the end of August brings new excitement to the championship.

The 2 forthcoming rounds at Aragon could favour Redding, it's a circuit he loves always providing they can sort out the ongoing front end problems with the Ducatis.

Hopefully Redding can make Rea work for it this season. It was quite ridiculous the way Bautista just gifted the title away last season

On to Aragon and Davies' favorite track. Can he get his 8th win there this weekend?

Rea took the superpole qualifying session at Aragon, ahead of Baz and Redding.

Many riders on a quick pace - just 0.8 seconds difference in best lap times between 1st and 12th place - so we should have a great race 1 later today.

Strange loss of pace in race two by Redding...but still a great work done by Johnny Rea. And I think by looking the others Kawasaki on the grid, that green bike isn't really easy to bring to the top!

Again good job by Davies, he really narrowly missed the win. He should work on the start and qualifying...

Yamaha - years of work but still there is something missing on the bike. They have a good riders duo at least...

... And a big thumps up for Bautista bringing Honda their first podium in ages!

Honda needs continuity now, also Haslam has improved a bit in Aragon

A new weekend full of races in Aragon.
The Kawasaki-Ducati score was 2-1 last weekend.
What will this weekend bring?

A Ducati-Kawasaki 2-1 this weekend.
Big cheers to Rinaldi and his first World Superbike victory, and hats off to Rea for superb management of his championship chances.

What a cracking ding dong battle at Aragon, it seems at last that Rae has real competition as long as you're a flyweight on a Ducati although the new Fireblades are pretty much up thee as well.

... and the circus now moves on to Barcelona. 36 points between Rea and Redding, so the championship is still quite open.

Does anybody still watch this, I am afraid it has become about as low as F1 on my radar, simply the most dull, unwatchable race series out there right now for me.

Dominated by a guy who should not even be there

Great racing day on Sunday with Davies and van der Mark taking their first victories of the season and Gerloff his first ever podium, but the impossible Rea now has a 51 point advantage on Redding. Still 124 points left to fight for though...

Nothing's impossible if things go right for him

How can you say Rea should not be here?
It is a World Championship with heavy factory support and he is a massive talent. We have seen all sorts drop back from MotoGP and get cleaned up by him.
It is also the one form of racing where the barriers to entry are really low, so anyone with a little backing could challenge him.

This thinking would equally apply to Hamilton ( thank you Mercedes) and Mark Marquez.

Rea has every right to be there. If he wants to stay it's his choice. If he wants to leave, it's his choice, just as it's people's choice to go to WSBK from whatever series.

Maybe people shouldn't concentrate so much on him and concentrate more on what makes the series great. After all, he hasn't always had it his own way and we still get great racing

Actually we have seen the likes of Hamilton and Marquez beaten at times, so there's hope there too

Pretty good racing at Barcelona. Great to see the young American Gerloff show what he's capable off. I'm a bit of a fan.

Yeah the racing was good at Barcelona, Rea didn’t have it all his way, although Redding didn’t quite have it in him in R2 to capitalise. And that young American really looks good

That monsoon in the Supersport was really something wasn’t it?
