2007 V8SCFC: Round 10 Bathurst 1000 Results
They talk so much about buying a ticket to the end - which just happened to be a lottery Top Ten at Bathurst Scuderia Cavallo Ferro (Antrodemus) 195 2 Brendon Engineering (Pro Racer) 186 3 Team Bourbonphone (Micklegend) 168 3 BlueBlood Motorsport (BlueBlood) 168 3 Below Average Racing (Average Punter) 168 6 Team Tiger Racing (carma) 156 6 Squadra Darkness (Razor) 156 8 Phoenix Motorsport (Helix) 147 9 Club 27 Racing (woodbine) 141 9 RS Motorsport (Suttory) 141 9 Lego Racers (DarthFalcon) 141 Scuderia Cavallo Ferro have taken the chequered flag at Bathurst, tip-toeing to a 9-point win over Brendong Engineering. A blanket could be thrown over the equal-third-placed teams of Team Bourbonphone, BlueBlood Motorsport, and Below Average Racing. Congrats to the Mountain-conquering pairings of Jamie Whincup, David Besnard, Greg Murphy, and Nathan Pretty! Hard Charger Award Phoenix Motorsport rose from the ashes (perhaps those of the BOC car...) to claim 15 places in the standings. Also successfully climbing the mountain were Squadra Darkness and Lego Racers (both up 10), Team Liquid Motorsport and Budget Action Racing (both up 8), and Team Tiger Racing and Team Fujitsu (both up 7). Biggest Loser Award The McPhillamy Parking Lot was full today, as Hazzard Motorsport (18 place drop) was joined in quick succession by Team Noiseworker Racing (down 17), West Surrey Racing (down 16), and B.O.R.I.N.G. (down 11). But at least Hazzard and B.O.R.I.N.G. scored points, something which the others, plus Tom's Red Army Racing, Sweet Hog Racing, and Stealthy Motorsport, didn't manage. Standings after Bathurst (last round & margins in brackets): 1 (3) Scuderia Cavallo Ferro (Antrodemus) 964 2 (1) Club 27 Racing (woodbine) 928 (-36) 3 (2) Hayden Craig Motorsport (H C Motorsport) 905 (-59) 4 (4) Below Average Racing (Average Punter) 898 (-66) 5 (9) Brendon Engineering (Pro Racer) 896 (-68) 6 (7) Team Bourbonphone (Micklegend) 884 (-80) 7 (11) BlueBlood Motorsport (BlueBlood) 862 (-102) 8 (8) Australian Motorsports (Chatters) 835 (-129) 9 (6) Eagle Motorsport (Biggy G) 818 (-146) 10 (5) Total Team Red & One Other (Harves) 816 (-148) 11 (18) Team Tiger Racing (carma) 793 (-171) 12 (14) Team Chaparral Racing (TCR-028) 767 (-197) 13 (10) Pinnacle Motorsport (marcus) 764 (-200) 14 (14) Rombles Racing (Rombles1) 761 (-203) 15 (12) Snap Crackle Pop Racing (Oaksnaf) 756 (-208) 16 (19) Rowdy Motorsport (Rowdy) 746 (-218) 16 (19) Gotta Race (billybanana) 746 (-218) 18 (13) Crooks Motorsport (StuiE) 744 (-220) 19 (16) Chrysler 101 Racing (M-Kart) 741 (-223) 20 (30) Squadra Darkness (Razor) 735 (-229) 21 (23) Team Green Bean (Peckstar) 713 (-251) 22 (24) Jacko Junior Racing (Jacko44) 708 (-256) 23 (38) Phoenix Motorsport (Helix) 696 (-268) 24 (26) 05 Racing Forever (adz_34) 693 (-271) 25 (33) Team Liquid Motorsport (liquid drano) 681 (-283) 26 (27) Team MVMotorsport (MattV) 675 (-289) 26 (27) NNR (Niki51) 675 (-289) 28 (31) Kmart Racing (Matt_015) 671 (-293) 29 (34) S.L.U.T. Phoenix Motorsport was thrilled with it's drivers in a very exciting and changeable race that ended in the team earning the converted hard charger award at Bathurst, we hope this form will carry threw to Indy and further move us closer to the top 10.

Up 8 spots. Nice effort by the ford boys. As usual, MS tore a heart muscle again.
