Mark Taylor
Well he had the speed at the start of the year, but he struggled to keep it off the wall.
His first race with Accsess has brought his best ever result, and is also the best result of Greg Ray this year - seventh. Great to see Mark and Accsess back on track and will hopefully build on this and enjoy more succsess in the future. I heard that they had a new sponsor for this race - I certanly saw a new logo on the car but coulnd't make out who it was? |

Don't know about the new sponsor, but it was good to see Taylor get a good finish.
He always had the speed, he just needed track time IMO. Thumbs up to Access for giving him the chance. a couple more years and he'll be pretty good. It's always easier to make a fast driver keep it on the road than it is to make a consistant driver speed up. |

Taylor looked very racy this weekend and so did Bell. The only near disaster was when Bell almost hit the Safety Truck and some of it's crew members. Bell went and apoligized to the crew members after the race. One of the Safety guys said that was the first time a driver had ever apoligized for nearly running them over. Classy move by Bell IMO.
The sponsor on Taylors car was University Lofts. |

That was very nice of Bell. He looks like he's going to be a very good addition to the League

Scary stuff, when Bell almost hit the safety truck. Shows you what a bear these cars can be to handle, even at yellow flag speeds. |

Taylor did a sterling job this weekend , maybe he just didnt gel with the panther crew and needed a change of atmosphere to get things happening , either way it seems sitting a race out and then changing teams hasnt hurt him at all just increased faith in the young man.
I hope he can keep it up. Bell also has done very well in his 2 starts , in fact he has done better than I thought he would , I hope he can continue on the upward trend as well |

These were probably the 2 highlights of the race - both drivers who deserve these chances, and in teams who deserve to be running competitively. Sounds like Townsend's manners help make up for his mistakes.

Bell was a bit accident prone during his time in Champcar, but there's no doubt the guy is quick.
Hmm, a Panther driver who's accident prone but very fast, now where have I heard that before? |

If you think Taylor has crashed to much look at his old team mate Scheckter he hasn't even finished a race yet!

But what a lousy looking logo that is! I mean, who the heck is it? |

Universal Loft Co.
You can see the logo properly on TV, which is what it's all about. |
