No Monaco F3000 race live
UGH...Eurosport will broadcast the Giro D'Italia live instead of the Monaco F3000 race.
A lot of other channels broadcast the Giro as well as Eurosport but still they decide to show it and do F3000 in replay later on. What a missed chance |

It's the second biggest cycle race in the world, after the tour de france.

hakkiman, with ALL stages live i doubt they decide NOT to show one and opt for F3000 instead. More people will probably be watching the Giro.
Thank god they will do a replay from 17.30 to 18.30 CET |

Haven did make it sound LIVE, as he said:
"Yes, I know its later than usual, but its Monaco." Draw your own conclusions. Stranger: Don't bash the Grio, as its in Holland today. |

Monaco is always different to the rest of the calendar. Qualifying takes place on Friday morning instead of Friday afternoon, and the race starts an hour later.
This is because the F3000 paddock is so far away from the circuit they need extra time to get the cars to the pit lane. |

Well, as long as it's on, and in the same day, it is no big problem for me. Will just have to avoid any motorsport news sites for a couple of hours.

yep, exactly, there are worse things in life than having to wait 1 or 2 hours...as long as they show the complete race and don't spoil the fun.

I have checked the Sky tv guide and it says F3000 is on at 8pm, while my normal tv guide says 9pm.
Which is it? |

Saelens was an early casualty. Had engine problems. Also, Rodrigo Sperafico has retired after rear suspension failure - he had already been in the pits twice...possible contact with Bjorn Wirdheim. |
