Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Is Heidfeld a free agent if McLaren resign Coulthard for next year?

Heidfeld's McLaren contract expires in 2003 (I think). So does that mean that if Coulthard is resigned for next year by McLaren (which is looking incresingly likely ), Heidfeld will be a free agent?

His Sauber contract expires in 2003, so NH will likely get the Mac seat in 2004.

Why they keep re-signing DC I'll never know.

I doubt that very much if Mika still have an influence with the Macs. Considering the fact that Heidfeld and Raikonnen is not in good terms with eachother.

I do hope he ends the contarct with the Macs as this have crossed my mind before and who knows Ferrari might have an interest in him as he is driving the Sauber which is in good terms with the Ferrari.

Heidfeld should go to Toyota now. The deal with Sauber is only an option for next year, so basically he is free to do what he wants because it's becoming increasingly apparent that McLaren will not take up his services.

Nick, stick the finger up at Ron and sign for Toyota.

I reckon he's held out too long for McLaren, but may now lose his chance of going elsewhere as i think that Wurz will be at Toyota next year!

Well, who knows, even Salo could be given the boot! (Although I doubt that will ever happen....)

Toyota will want one of the current drivers to remain for continuity. My guess is that Salo has the better relationship w/ Andersson and that McNish will mkae way for Wurz. It seems as though Nick is stuck at Sauber. Tant pis.

So is NH, or Fisichella, but no... DC remains McLaren's man. And he supposedly doesn't get much support.
