V8SCFC'10: R5 Ipswich Results
Queensland Raceway - driving stationers wild since 1999... Top Ten
EBXR8 Red Bull Motorsport and ANZAC Racing were untouchable at Ipswich, cruising away from the pack to comfortably share the round win. Rombles Racing staged a late tyre-fueled charge into third place, ahead of Stealthy Motorsport and Axeman Performance Racing. Congrats to tyre nurses James Courtney, Daniel Gaunt, Jono Webb, and Dean Fiore! Hard Charger Award Finally some decent movement! Putting the right set of super-ultra-soft tyres on at the exact right moment saw Stealthy Motorsport carve up the field in the closing stages to record a 10-place gain and the Hard Charger Award. Not far behind were Rombles Racing, who carved up a different part of the ladder for their 9-place jump. Biggest Loser Award D&T Racing and Hero To Zero Motorsport were left to lament busted engines and a 5 place fall in the standings, but not as much as Holden Performance Racing, whose lap 1 meeting with Mr. Concrete cost 8-places and the Biggest Loser Award. Standings:
I love a good fight Right after losing the top spot to B.O.R.I.N.G., ANZAC Racing barged on through to take it back again. Then EBXR8 Red Bull Motorsport biffed their way through too to demote the former champs to third, just ahead of also former champs L&P World Famous Racing. |

Hmm, methinks a driver change is needed. This pain needs to stop.

2nd round win of the season for HCM
ANZAC Racing notched up their second round win of the season and can't be happier with their start to the 2010 V8SCFC season recording 5 top 10 finishes in 5 starts, Team owner HCM cannot belive his luck and just hopes the team can carry this form for rounds to come, "but it is a long road ahead, when your at the top there is only way you can go" HCM told media after the race on sunday.
