Not too many clashes between the two; shame that the NW finale clashes with the Carnival again, and that both Mallory meetings clash with Combe championship rounds. For the first time in 21 years, doesn't look as if I will see a SoM/CFF(MS) round at Mallory!

Thats a real shame. I very much doubt my car will be ready for the April Mallory races, and the its the classic meeting at Combe on August 4th which I wouldn't like to miss.

I suppose at least it will save me paying to join the BRSCC and paying the championship reg fee.

early & cheap at Brands?

MSV Racing have dates of 23 & 24 March down as "season starter" on their marshal's availability.... but as yet we (marshals) have no idea what will be on the timetable.

Call MSV is what I'd say..
or if MSVR had a web presence?

Don't have a date or confirmation yet for Golden Helmet, but I believe that will be early March on Stowe. WHT early November. Sir JYS Trophy at Knockhill in, I think, July.

John, I spoke with Peter Richie at the Autosport show and the BRSCC are working to secure a date for early summer. As yet it is not confirmed.

Adam. That sounds like it might be the weekend of 2/3 June or 9/10 June. Did he give any idea ? Also, I spoke to Tristrian Harris of Motor Sport Vision yesterday and it sounds like there's a good chance of a cheepe double headder for 1600s at Brands weekend of 24/25 March BUT THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED yet. He's hoping to confirm some time next week.

He did mention the dates and you will be pleased to know it didn't clash with my planned summer holiday - following this great news i promptly forgot the date! - sorry. It was definitely June or July

Still no news on a Donington or MSVR Brands date?

Does the fact we have heard nothing mean there will be none

The MSVR Brands meeting is being advertised as a Lotus Celebration, with a race for Zetec's but not FF1600. See link below;
