Sportscar & Racer
This here is partially spam... but anyways, the next time you are in a newsagency, keep your eyes out for a new mag called 'Sportscar & Racer'. The first edition has a pic of a silver Porsche GT2 on the cover.
It's almost a bit like the old GTP Racer magazine, it has a heap of road tests etc, but provides a heap of space on club level motorsport etc. It has reports from road rallies, historic meetings, hillclimbs, state championship meetings, sprints etc. Worth a read if you are into more motorsport than just V8s |

Sounds promising, I'll take a peak next time I'm at a newsagency...

www.sports-racer.com might answer a few questions.
I know in the first edition there is a quality write up on the Noosa Hillclimb, so that might answer your question about contributors |

A nice article on the underhanded approach AVESCO and the fee-stealing attitude of CAMS on the web site as well: http://www.sports-racer.com/wheeltalk.html

And a nice comdemnation of the Porsche Cup Series as well - seems like Porsche Cars Australia are not too supportive of that series any more (understandably having seen how some of the events turn out)

Looks like a good read, will be great to see some other Australian categories get more articles and space.
On the Carerra Cup, i hope this gets off the ground, though i also hope the current Porsche Cup continues |

Picked it up today, nice mag, looks like a good read. Shame it's only 80 pages, but solid content.
