gttouring should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
classes

In these enduro races- how many classes is good and what types of cars are acceptable-2 classes like in the new daytona is kinda goofy, these are enduro with slow traffic being moving chicanes to keep things interesting, Dakar rally has what 4-5 classes(truck, buggies, cars, bikes, quads) why not for the Lemans-is 4 or more classes better especially considering the potential mixture of shapes and sounds.
any thoughts?

Dakar has classes among the different vehicles. Not sure how many there are, but it is in the double digits.

I think the number of classes should be set based on the number of entries the organizers can convince to participate. I would like to see at least see 5 cars per class for a class to have standing at enduro events or in a series. Afterall, this is racing, not just some spectacle for marketing.

That's where I don't get the point in having a separate class- given that the Bentley is designed to be, and is capable of competing directly against an LMP900, then why weren't the two classes simply merged so that cars built to either set of class regs just run in a single class?

Supposedly a GTP has better aerodynamics, so the power and tyre regs are different, so that it doesn't have too much advantage over an LMP. It does seem kinda pointless though.
