We have a new leader! Team Prodrive has continued its great run of form by and has overtaken Club 27 Racing. Nomad Racing has also benefited from the AJ effect to be a point further back in third place. At the other end of the table Boehm Racing and Hazard Sport Europe are also locked in a major struggle with just a point between them.

Team Prodrive would like to congratulate all 3 of its drivers for a all round good performance. Once again Allmendinger has shown that he is the driver to beat and Justin Wilson did well despite early tyre issues. Also congratulations to Christiano Da Matta who seems to be once again getting to grips with Champcar.

What a disastrous effort. With autodestruction mode brought on by Philippe and Wilson trudging slowly to 4th, we were losers today. Ah well.

Philippe's position within the team will be reviewed in the next hours... or minutes.
