This should spice of the Korean GP a bit. I'm hooked!
At this point, you really have to worry about flooding. The circuit rests on top of a former ocean bog. The track is essentially directly at sea level and only half a mile from the Pacific Ocean. Also, you'd wonder if extreme saturation would weaken the foundations of the circuit. They talk about Shanghai Intl. Circuit sinking; I think we could see some major sinking this weekend. Nevertheless, I'm changing my predictions for the rain forecast. |

Does that count as an artificial aid?

Surely it's a natural feno, phemnom, phernom. Sod it, it's an artificial aid.

Sounds like a typical summers day at Knockhill (horizontal rain, etc).
Scroll down the page to the map. The circuit is in the South West corner of the country. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/1835848 |

The typhoon will boost Vettel and will win by 30 secs margin over his rivals.

I experienced a direct hit with one of these things about 10 years ago in Japan. It was terrifying - cars lifted off the ground, motorbikes flying through the air etc... If that happens at the circuit the race will be the least of their worries.

This BBC article says the storm will miss South Korea but could still bring heavy rain and strong winds.

A typhoon might be the only thing that can make this race tolerable. Therapist on standby...

the downside of extreme weather combined with building a track so far from a major metropolitan center is that you give people less of an incentive to go and quite frankly they dont have much incentive to go as it is...but for me lots of rain here is the about the only thing giving me an incentive to watch as well. |

If Red Bull truly "gives you wings" then that tailwind won't stop Vettel!

I hope we get some rain. We've had about 8 laps in the rain so far this season, compared to a full wet GP last season at this point. Wet races are few and far between, though. Remember the hopes of rain at Spa and Monza? I hope we actually get a good one. JB podium?
