Maserati Trofeo Coupe in the Rolex series.
It was added December 2nd.

DAMN!- that means the ALMS gt ranks lost out.
Pooo This NOrth AMerican RoadRaCe Endurance fight is getting very costly-LMPs-DP's:GTS not GTS : GT not GT Ugh!! it was bad enough we had an openwheel schism fighting over talent and TV contracts and Sponsors and Events, now we have road racing split amonst competitors and New entrants- can't we all just get along?

Not quite the thread, but it's about Maserati : Jean Todt declared at Gazzetta dello Sporte gave gave news about the official come back of Maserati to race, in FIA-GT in 2004, and add that " it was not impossible to think that we could enter at Le Mans"...
ALMS/LMES/LM not dead yet !

makes since to run Ga as they look more like Ferrari Challenge or Porsche cup style cars than "true" GTs

A racing legend is back, and excuse me if I don't really care what series its in!
The name conjures up some great racing memories and some great cars. Can't wait to see them mix it up with the Porsches and Ferraris! Hey gttouring, even though its in Grand Am now, can't it also easily find itself in the ALMS in the future? |

As long as it pass's the ACO's testing. Which shouldn't be a problem since its designed to fit the FIA N-GT class.

well it could make it to ALMS- but as it enter the NorthAmerican markets as a grand am first, it will bring the adverts with it. I am certainly overjoyed to see the Maserati's back in Racing- i love em- and that sound of the V8! it rivals ferrari's best
