Bezzers1986 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Silverstone Classic

Hey,

Just spotted the timetable, looks like it could be another late one this year with them bringing the Group C race out at 20:35.

http://www.silverstoneclassic.com/Content/Race-Grids

Looking forward to the event, but not sure I like the prospect of a nine-thirty finish

Who's gonna be there?

Bez

I'll be there Friday & Saturday, spectating Sunday. Bit of a late finish Saturday but it is Group C so I'll let them off!

Of course! Still need to get in touch with Fay though. I think Nina will enjoy the classic out on the circuit - is she doing incident or flag?

I'll be there all 3 days. I love this meeting.
Every year we get people saying how long the Saturday is going to be.
If it didn't fifnish late, we wouldn't get the great sight of Group Cs at dusk, or whatever else they've had over the years.
It will be worth it....................providing the weather is nice,

I think the point is, that not all marshals look out for the timetable in advance and for those new to the event may not be expecting it.

I won't be attending, the days are too long for my liking, but thats my choice and I wish those that are going a great weekend.

With over 700 racing entries the days just flew by. The sight and sounds of the group C cars as the sun goes down is truly memorable.

Definitely one of the first I sign up for each year. Group C are wonderful and the "late" race has a great atmosphere all its own.

You can either PM Fay Crook or Alan Crook on this forum or send an email to fay@crook.uk.net or office@hscc.org.uk

Just had an email from Jo about this years event. Nice to see that the circuit has taken on board the campsite issues and made other arrangements!

Camping will be at the "Woodlands" campsite just outside the circuit. This year we will have access to permanent showers and toilets as well as an on site shop and 'pub'. Booking is required and you will be sent all details needed about that by whoever you have volunteered through, i.e. HSCC or SMT. I would advise against anyone posting the booking details on here - remember it an open forum and anyone can see!

I couldn't get the link to work either - try just typing the web address into your browser instead of clicking the link in the email, that worked for me.

If you volunteered through SMT you should have an email. If you volunteered through HSCC - sit back and wait for a bit. Issue with tickets just been sorted so HSCC have probably held back on issuing them to make sure you get all the right relevant materials, i.e. tickets and info.
